The Beehive Brawl – Utah Nationals is one of the biggest tournaments in Utah, and it brings in talent from multiple states. The brackets are deep, the pace is high, and nothing comes easy. Making the podium here is a big deal. Placing high is an even bigger deal. Winning it is awesome. ICWA did all of that this weekend.

Coach’s Shoutout — Dominant Through the Bracket, Backside Battles & “Reset” Mindset
We’re really proud of our two champions and their dominance through their brackets to earn the top spot on the podium. They toed the line with confidence and tenacity every match, and they went and took what was theirs all along. Great job to them.

We also had heartbreaker matches—tight matches that could’ve gone either way, and a few where we got caught and it wasn’t how those matches should have gone. That’s youth wrestling. There’s always a winner and a loser. What matters is what happens next.

Huge respect to the wrestlers who took a loss, reset their mind, and walked right back out there to toe the line again—sometimes over and over—until they earned their spot on the podium. That takes a go-getter mindset.

We truly couldn’t be prouder of this team. We know there’s always room for improvement, so we’ll be back to work Monday—focused on being better than yesterday and getting ready to leave it all on the mat at State next weekend.
