Iron County Wrestling Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wrestling organization committed to growing the sport of wrestling in Iron County and throughout Southern Utah.
Our primary mission begins with youth wrestling. ICWA brings together wrestlers from communities that feed Canyon View, Cedar, and Parowan High Schools, giving young athletes quality coaching, additional mat time, strong competition, and a foundation that prepares them to succeed at the high school level and beyond.
In just a few short years, ICWA has brought wrestlers from across Iron County together under one program, secured our own dedicated wrestling facility—The Iron Mine—furnished it with a custom wrestling mat, and acquired a team van to help provide transportation and expand opportunities for our athletes.
And our impact now reaches well beyond our K–8 wrestlers.
The Iron Mine provides local high school wrestlers with a place to train and develop during the off-season. ICWA also makes our facility available for regional and national team practices through USA Utah Wrestling, helping support wrestling development throughout Southern Utah and beyond.
Many former ICWA wrestlers are now finding success at the high school level, giving us confidence that the opportunities, training, and foundation we are building are working.
For the 2026–2027 season, our goal is to raise $15,000 through business and community sponsorships so we can continue building on that momentum.
Operating and growing a wrestling program takes significant resources. Sponsorships allow ICWA to keep wrestling affordable, provide more opportunities for athletes, maintain a dedicated training facility, support competition and travel, and continue investing in the future of wrestling in our area.
Sponsorship funds help support:
Scholarships and fee assistance to help more local kids participate in wrestling
Facility rent, utilities, and maintenance at The Iron Mine
Van licensing, registration, insurance, fuel, maintenance, and repairs
Dual team tournament and competition expenses
Coach tournament admissions
Coach training and USA Wrestling certifications
Wrestling equipment, training supplies, and facility needs
Team and individual photos
Administrative costs
Your sponsorship supports more than a youth club. It helps fund a growing wrestling program that serves young wrestlers, supports high school athletes in their off-season training, and provides a facility that benefits regional and national team practices as well. ICWA is helping grow wrestling in Iron County, throughout Southern Utah, and beyond.

When you sponsor Iron County Wrestling Academy, you are doing more than putting your business name on a banner or a van. You are helping put kids on the mat. You are helping wrestlers reach competitions and training opportunities. You are helping provide a dedicated facility for youth and high school athletes. And you are helping build a wrestling program that benefits athletes throughout Southern Utah.
We are proud of the businesses and community members who make these opportunities possible, and we would be honored to have you on our team for the 2026–2027 season.
