This season’s story really started at State last year. Kynzlee took a tough loss… and instead of letting it end her weekend, she stepped up. She came back through the backside, fought her way through, and finished 3rd. That’s when it clicked—she figured out what she’s made of, and she’s been building on it ever since.

From there, she went on a tear:

• Freestyle State Champion

• Western States — 3rd Place

• Turkey Tussle Champion

• Beehive Brawl Champion

• Southern Region Champion

• State Champion

• Super State Champion

Her record this season: 25–4.
And the stat that says it all: 0 losses to girls. The only four losses came wrestling boys. That’s not taking the easy road—that’s chasing tough matches and leveling up.

Most of Kynzlee’s wins are quick because she attacks and she finishes. But what makes her special is she can win the gritty ones too. She doesn’t fold, doesn’t fade, and she doesn’t quit.

Smiles are for after. When it’s go time, her braids are tight, her eyes are locked, and she’s ready to get to work.
